Your Subscriptions

Topics

Your subscription page lists all the topics your organisation offers — communication categories such as "Monthly Newsletter", "Event Reminders", or "School Holiday Programs". For each topic you choose how you'd like to receive messages about it:

  • Email — messages arrive in your inbox.
  • SMS — messages arrive as a text on your mobile.
  • Voice call — messages are read to you over the phone.
  • Opt out — you won't receive messages for this topic.

Select your preferred option under each topic and your changes are saved automatically. Your organisation sends one message; you receive it through whichever channel you've chosen.

SMS requires a mobile number on file, and voice requires a landline or mobile number. If a channel is unavailable it won't appear as an option. Go to My Account > Your Details to add a missing number.

Mandatory topics

Some topics are marked mandatory — shown with a padlock. All members are subscribed to these automatically and they cannot be opted out of.

Mandatory topics are typically used for critical communications such as safety alerts, or for messages that everyone needs to receive such as a pricing or policy changes. If your community is spamming you with this, please contact us.

Suggesting a new topic

If there's a topic you'd like your organisation to offer, use the Suggestions box on your subscription page (if activated). Type your idea and click Submit. Your suggestion goes to the organisation's admin team for consideration.
